Tuchel Insists No Problem with Jude Bellingham, Foden, or Jack Grealish

Thomas Tuchel asserted that he holds "no problem" with Jack Grealish after the trio were left out the England team for upcoming fixtures against Latvia and Wales.

The midfielder has not been recalled despite recovering from a shoulder issue, whereas Foden and Grealish are also absent despite displaying a return to form with their clubs.

Tuchel mentioned that the 22-year-old wanted to be part of the selection, after a conversation with him on the phone.

"Bellingham is a unique talent, and for exceptional talents there can often be exceptions," the coach remarked regarding the Real Madrid star, who's made just one start since coming back to full health.

"But we opted to maintain the straightforward decision of calling up the same group.

"Bellingham always deserves to be here. There is also the situation that he has not fully found his full rhythm again at his club - he has not completed a full game.

"The player wanted to be called up. We had a telephone conversation."

The England boss made an effort to highlight his good rapport with Bellingham after Tuchel apologized to him previously for calling his conduct during a match as "repulsive" in a live interview.

Tuchel explained that he used the words "unintentionally" and promised to be more cautious going forward.

Inquired if he had any issue with Bellingham, he responded: "None. There is no issue either with Foden or Grealish.

"Phil is back to influencing and deciding games for Manchester City. Grealish is almost to being back to the top form of himself.
